SPECIAL COURSE IN HYDROLOGY:
INFLUENCE OF GLOBAL CLIMATIC CHANGE ON DIFFERENT HYDROLOGICAL VARIABLES
Note: The Huhtisuo data used in several exercises has been originally collected by the National Board of Agriculture between years 1936-1957. Later on prof. Pertti Vakkilainen/Laboratory of Water Resources assisted by Mr. Erkki Järvinen and Mr. H. Koivusalo organized the storing of the data from original notes (archives) to computer files. The policy of prof. Vakkilainen is that the data is freely available to anyone for scientific/educational purposes and therefore the data can also be utilized in these exercises.
STATUS OF THE SUBMODELS: 'Urban Hydrology', 'Nitrogen balance' and 'Open channel flow' not yet available, 'Crop growth': calculation of crop biomass not yet available!
